I will apologize to all those who looked for this posting but could not find it as it did not exist before today (although the box was planted back in December 2007) as I refered to it in my first 2 "Our Favorite Things" boxes/postings but did not actually get around to posting until today. Here is why:

This box was originally planted just before Christmas 2007, off of the Conewago Trail, which we love & where we have 2 other boxes, for my Daddy. The original spot was right off the parking lot & we thought it would be muggled if it was left there. So, later in the Winter, we went walking around the "hidden lake" noted in the first of this series. We meant to post after placing in this new location (hence the references) but ultimately did not as we wanted to wait to see what the area looked like in the Summer. Today we went back & had quite a time retrieving it ourselves. It was back in a tree close to the "A Day At The Beach Box #1" (by the way, congratulations to Cookie Brookie & Cheers for being the first finders as they happened uopn this box accidentally while scouting locations for theirs), and was overgrown with prickly plants & poison ivy. Therefore, we moved it again & feel it is more accessible. It is #3 as it was the thirs planted, not the third you come across during your journey. It is actually back at the start. so,

You can find this either on your way in or out of the trail. I will describe it as if you are going their first but I think you can figure it out on the way out. Please see Our favorite things #1 for directions to the parking lot & to begin. As you start on the foot path, past the bridge & at the 00 mile marker, take 12 steps & you will see another path going off to the right, down towards the creek. Take this path and after 6 steps, look to the right & see the multiple trunked tree on the left (the picture on AQ shows the tree from the original path). The letterbox is in a small, camo decon container up in the tree, at the base of the forks. I tried to push it down & cover with a small stone & twig to keep it concealed - it is still close enough to the trail to get muggled & it looks like people visit the creek as the path is still well-worn with the summer growth. You may have to climb around the tree a bit to find it but I promise this is easier than the last place we had it (you'll have to take my word).

Please rehide well & look for muggles. Our first box in the "series" went missing shortly after planting & although the stamp was done by an 8y/o, it is far more sentimental than technically impressive.

Again, I am sorry for making reference to this box WAY before it was posted. I hope you enjoy the trail & boxes :)
