1577 Congress Street, the new home of PPA Portland. A long time coming. Enter the parking lot and notice our beautiful new building. You can leave your vehicle parked there while going on your search. Head around the left side (as you are facing the building)and while watching for traffic cross the street. To the right of Orthopedic building there starts a trail developed by the city of Portland in conjunction with Maine Audobon. Walk along the trail the trail you will see a walking bridge off to your right in the distance which you will be crossing. When you get to the point of a left or right turn, turn right. When you cross the bridge you will see a sign letting you know that you have entered the Fore river Sanctuary. Shortly after the sign you will see a spot for a rest and a view. Sit on the bench for a moment and then to the right of the bench, off the path about a yard or so there is a small tree and the box is planted there under the brush. Please recover it well.
