In west Roseville, travel to the intersection of the two great "Oaks" boulevards. Once at the intersection, travel south on one of the Oaks, for a brief time, until you reach the "painted desert."

Turning right at the desert, continue on for a short while until you reach an oasis named after ______, not Eve. Park here, as this is where your hunt will begin.

1. Standing now at the oasis (in front of the sign), it's time to look south, perhaps southeast, for the " ______ to Terabithia." You are excellent letterboxers, we are sure, so it's not surprising that you will excel at this task. In fact, when you spot the word "EXCEL" you will know you have come to the right place.

2. Cross this landmark and continue on the paved path. Soon you will find that the path splits. What to do? Continue in the direction that rhymes with "great."

3. Continue onwards for a ways, enjoying the birds and grass and trees. Eventually you will come upon a large and lonely old tree trunk laying on the ground to your right.

4. From this spot continue on, many yards ahead, until you see three little tree trunk brothers, also laying on the ground, to your left. Walk to the brothers.

5. Here again, we find ourselves at a split. It is often more important to stay on the straight and narrow than to be right. Keep this in mind as you make your choice.

6. Continue on your way a bit more, until you spy 3 baby oak trees in the grass to your left. Treading carefully, pay a visit to the middle of these trees, for tucked behind it you will find what you seek.

Difficulty: Easy

Walking distance: Maybe 1/4 mile?
