Natural trail, well maintained. OK for an "off road" stroller. Some hills, but not steep.

To reach this trail from I-75, take I-74 West about 10 miles to Exit 3. Turn left at the top of the ramp and go about a mile to the stop sign (West Rd). Turn right on West Rd to the park entrance (1/4 mile). Take the entrance on your left. Stay on this road till you see the signs for this trail. It starts next to the Timberlakes program shelter. There is a three dollar yearly, or one dollar daily fee for this park. Leashed pets allowed. Please stay on the trails and respect the 'leave no trace' principles of letterboxing. This park is very clean and you can help it stay that way by packing out any trash you might find along the trail

Tasted by a critter, but re-hidden on 9-5-03

Clues:
On the Oakleaf trail, at the fork, go to the right, over the Beech boardwalk. Read about a success story. Take a heading of 70* & look for the "Pileated?" under a rock at the cross.
