Head to the John Deere Historic Site in Grand Detour, IL (http://www.deere.com/en_US/attractions/historicsite/index.html).

This is a wonderful spot to take the family, the day I planted this box the Grand Detour Arts Festival was in full swing. I enjoyed talking with Judy, the Gift Shop Manager, while live music was being played in the background.

I asked Judy if we could plant my box outside, so that people could get to it at all times of the year, even in the off season.

Check under the south corner of the Gift Shop, near the water spigot. The box is nestled near the cement support.

Thanks again Judy for contacting me and allowing this box to be placed at the John Deere Historic Site.

The John Deere Historic Site is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., April 1 to November 30. NOTE: There is a $3 fee if you're touring the site. To go only to the gift shop, you do not need to pay the fee (unless it's a Special Events day!).
