(*Please bring a pen and some ink-
so our book will be rainbow- blue, red…even pink!
Note only box one is missing.
Ode to the Arches- A Golden Mystery
These boxes are found in an area of sports diversity, about 3.1 miles from the University.
Number 600 on a Street that is “fast”;
Just drive right in and park--don’t go past.
To find this place, know your winds and directions;
the place is broken into many sections.
At 7310’30” longitude and 4426’44”latitude,
there is something here for everyone to do.
(This is Vermont’s #1 Sports Town, too.)
Many go there to walk or just play;
Ice is hard here every day.
Players with sticks and slim metal on their shoes-
leave shavings….oh, what is a Zamboni to do?
This place “hosts” many kinds of games-
Soccer, hockey and all types of ball.
There is a large shell with a floor of names-
when you see,you’ll agree, it looks like a band’s hall.
There is something for everyone to do-
Whether it be play, sing or have had kites that flew.
Astronomy is a hobby some do here in September…
There are so many different things, just remember-
All children, no matter how old or how young,
have come here to play or just having sung…..
The 1st letterbox is located where small children play-
but, be very careful if you find it by day!
There is a memorial dedicated to the youth of its city-
Look down and in; don’t be afraid to get gritty.
You will find a small box that is so “bitty”.
You will only have half of the Golden Mystery once this
is found-
Then, you will need to walk (or drive) on the grounds-
To the place where bricks, dates and names make a shell
to find the 2nd box, safe in a “dell”.
The most western corner there,
walk directly 26 paces North where-
Look high, look low! Don’t forget inside---
The other half to the Golden Mystery this box will provide!
(This is our first placement of a letterbox. The Yoko Brothers would love to hear from you when you find it!)
so our book will be rainbow- blue, red…even pink!
