John's Barn is placed to honor the Overstreet and Fisher families and the Juni Fisher album (CD) "Gone for Colorado". This Western Music album tells the important stories of her Great Grandfather, John Overstreet's, journey starting from age 14 from Missouri to New Mexico, with an emphasis on Sedalia. Find the box and you'll be able to see the red and white barn (straight East of the box)that he built in 1891. It's still used today. To buy the CD stop in at the Fire House Museum in town or go to www.junifisher.net. By the way, that's John Overstreet on the cover of the CD.

Clues:
Head SW on Hwy 67. Now this is a "Western" Music CD about a ranch family so when you pass the non western music ranch pull over and start looking. There's a starting point to this song, then we start to sing "a 1 and a 2 and a 3". To the East is something at looks like music notes ought to be "posted" on it. The first measure line is parallel to your singing starting point. Walk down to the measure and now sing three measures back toward Sedalia. Just inside are a couple of tiny trees and a suspicious pile of rock at their base. There you will find the rest of the song and John's Barn. (No need to go inside, just reach through)

Please be sure to put the lid on tightly and email me with the condition of this box.
