[10/4/2011 - This box has been muggled.(I found only the lid in the hollow) It will not be replanted]

This section of the park is just north of Rt. 22. Watch for the white angel. By the side of the road right next to the park, find the pole numbered 62211HST. Sight 270 degrees and head off into the trees. Moving in a general NNE direction, make your way to the river bank. When you reach the water, look north and you’ll see a huge concrete bottle lying on its side in the water. Keep heading north and you’ll come to a tree that has fallen across your path. Clamber over this and then go over the small gully. Circle counterclockwise around the large patch of weeds and make your way back to the river. You should be able to see another concrete bottle, upright this time. A little further along, near to the water, you will find a mid-sized triple-trunked tree. The middle trunk has rotted away leaving a hollow, but continues to grow upward on one side, albeit a little smaller.

Your prize is in the hollow, under some leaves and branches.

• Bring your own ink; green is suggested.
• Some bushwhacking required; may be easier in the winter.
• Take along a plastic bag or two and pick up some trash while you’re here.
• Please rehide better than you found it.
