Take Route 6 East to Exit 11. Turn left and follow Route 137 to the end. Turn right on Route 28 and head towards South Harwich. Make the 6th left onto Forest Beach Road. Follow this road to the beach.
Park in the small lot.
A sticker you need not.
As you face the water and behind the dune,
Is a soft sandy path that you must follow soon.
Pass the dunes and cedar on your right.
What a nice sight!
Over on the left, is that the Stone Henge of the marsh?
Oh my garsh!
As the path narrows, the sand becomes a hard pack.
It’s cedar and bayberry that border your track.
(Keep a watchful eye on the steel cable that runs between the concrete posts.
When it touches the ground twice, you will be close.)
Directly across the from pole with the first osprey nest
Soft sand again becomes a slight test.
The lonely pine on the right
Points the way to the site.
(Remember the cable?
Are you still able?)
Go about 50 paces or so,
Then just one more post to go!
There… right next to the post… do you see the tree?
In it the box will be!
