Take the CA-17 exit towards Santa Cruz. Continue on Ocean Street. Turn left on Broadway. Turn right on Ocean View Avenue. Ocean View Avenue dead ends at Ocean View Park (102 Ocean View Avenue). Park on the street. This is a great park for kids or a picnic. There are some unique climbing structures including seven slides. There is also a great view of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. As you enter the park go to your right. Walk down to the fence on the right hand side of the basketball court. Turn to your right and you will see a gateway of four tall trees. Walk through the gateway. There will be a path on your left going down the hill. Follow the fallen tree on the right hand side of the path all the way down until you reach the top of the fallen tree. Turn to your right. The Oceanview letterbox is under the brush in the center of four Eucalyptus trees.
