There is a super fun and caring place in Lubbock that is the sight of the Letterboxing 101 class!!
It is a great place to connect with other's in your community and learn new things or just have fun.
Each year it is THE place to go if you want to have a tea party with Santa.
This letterbox is limited by hours the building is open so consider that while hunting.
8:30-8 Mon-Thurs
8:30-6 Fri
9-1 Sat

Enter the front door and be sure to check out the fliers of all the exciting fun events there are coming up!
Check the bulletin board for any fun games or puzzles you can solve for a prize!
People often come in looking for information so you will not draw any strange looks by being curious about upcoming events and classes.
Be sure you notice the beautiful courtyard straight ahead that is visible through the glass wall at the back of the building.
While standing and enjoying the view, you just might want to sit down on the park bench to your right.
If your hand reaches into the pot of the planted tree next to the bench no one will notice :) and YOU will find your prize.
(don't be surprised if you get knowing glances and giggles. The staff have full knowledge of this box and are excited to have searchers. You won't risk being "discovered" like at many locations but you do need to keep the element of surprise and stealth that is crucial to all letterboxes.....it is tradition, and you never know who might be watching....)
