So Instead of clues for this one I am going to tell you a story. For my son’s 5th Birthday present I bought him and his friend plus his friends Mom which just so happens to be my friend and completes our letterboxing group, tickets to ride the Amtrak train departing from Winter Park Florida and arriving in Kissimmee Florida. It was a wonderful day and along the way we decided to leave a letterbox.
We arrived at the train station at around 9am to catch the 9:55. The conductor I must say was rather rude but that’s all part of the journey I guess. The boys were both very ecstatic. We boarded the train shortly and were on our way to Kissimmee. The ride was over rather quickly in fact by the time we had explored the train we were just about there. Once off we did what any Mother would do, we searched for the nearest McDonald’s which ended up being about a mile and a half away. It was a nice hike through the heart of Kissimmee. Once at McDonald’s we ate and the kids played, we had about 4 hours to kill. After about 2 hours we decided to get back. Around the train station is the Kissimmee Civic Center, if your walking up the front of the building you will notice a wooden bench seating area; your unmentionables lay underneath the stairs. Once we had deposited our treasure we went on to see the big monument and then crashed inside the train station to cool off….enjoy!!!
