Jasmine:

From Susanville, head west on HWY 36. As you are coming down a steep hill, you will see a brown rectange sign that reads "Trailhead" with an arrow pointing to the left. Just past this sign is the entrance to Devil Corral's Trailhead portion of the Bizz Johnson Trail, on the left. Turn in and park near the rest rooms. Make your way to the trail by passing the kiosk. Once on the main trail, turn left. Walk along until the trail it's self is on a raised plateu, with the river on the right and a lovely canyon on the left. As you continue to walk, the mountain on the left will "rejoin" the trail and soon you will be on a trail with dirt mounds on both side. On the right you will see two adult "fork" trees very close to each other and the trail. To just past them on the left is a decent size grey/slate rock. Walk just past this rock to the pile of wood. Come around the pile of wood and check the base of the stump.
