INFO: This hand-carved stamp is from Bullits Sweetpea in Toledo, OH. This was her first carve! I have been thinking about the perfect spot for this very special stamp for a while now. I have come to a (temporary?) decision....

For now, 'A Connecticut Yankee' will reside behind the large blue pot on my front steps. It will occasionally travel with me to events. I will be sure to post when the Yank will hit the road.

CLUE: Where are my front steps you ask???

Well, if you know me, then you know.

If you kinda know a bit about me: You will know what CAUSE I support every JUNE with a benefit tag sale at my house. (I suppose if I desire your support for the tag sale, I will have to give you my address anyway :O) In that case, you can email me the answers to these questions:

1) What cause do I support?
2) Who is the tag sale in memory of?

If you don't know me at all: Maybe you can find my neighborhood through research? Our neighborhood was errected in 1942 as a post-war effort to provide housing to the soldiers (and their families) returning from war. Our neighborhood was actully the prototype for all military housing built across the country during this time period. The very first veteran to return home lived across the street from me. Franklin D. Roosevelt himself was here to dedicate our neighborhood. Later, when the properties were sold to civilians, the management building was donated to the town of Berlin. It was used for our Police Station for many years. To this day, the jail cells remain in the basement and the vault is now a stunning butler's pantry.
I am #5.

Tag, you're it.....
