Park at the Bluff Head parking area in Guilford on Route 77.
Take the blue trail up, up and up and then follow it along until you come to a sheer rock wall on the left. Climb between the rocks and as you climb through them you will see ahead of you several hemlocks. One of them has a double blue blaze.(I heard from Trailhead Tessie on 2-11-12 that this tree has fallen over). ( update from Teeker3/12 Double blazed hemlock is definitely down. Keep an eye out for other cave like areas on the left and head that way. Also, trail is reblazed so you go "through" the rocks twice.) Hope this helps the next folks who are looking for this box until I can get there to either re write the clues or re hide it somewhere else.
From that tree go left to a rock cave on the left. The box is on the right side.
You can turn around and follow blue back to your car, or if you spotted a car on Stagecoach Road in Durham you can follow blue and have an awesome hike. I hope you choose the long hike.
