This box was planted for Chthiker’s grandson and my sometimes hiking buddy.
Make your way to the Wadsworth Mansion , 421 Wadsworth Street , Middletown , Ct. 06457
Follow the road into the mansion and park in the parking area on the right. Walk back down the paved road to the beautiful curving Olmsted Carriageway on your right. Walk between the wonderful brownstone walls until you get to the end of the wall on the right. At the end bear right on the orange trail a very short distance until you come to the sign that reads “The American Revolution”. With your back to the sign, go ~ 28 steps to the old fallen tree and look in the root end behind a rock.
Please cover well, this is a busy place and I'd like Gavin's box to not go missing.
