Aloha from Kauai...

This beautiful island has so many "perfect" spots, it is easy to find a place to "leave" a letterbox.

I have chosen one at the end of Lawai Road. You will have a great trip/tour of the island from any location you start from.

From the North, East, Princeville, Wailua, Kapa'a, Lihu'e take Hwy 50 South toward Old Koloa Town. Turn left/south on Hwy 520/Maluhuia Road thru the Tree Tunnel of old Eucalyptus trees and soon you will be in Old Koloa Town, home of the first Sugar Mill on the island. Head South on Hwy 50 and as you reach Koloa Road make a right turn and get in the left lane to turn left at the Chevron Station onto Po'ipu Road.

From the North, West, Kekaha, Waimea, head South on Hwy 50 and turn right at Hwy 530 just past Kalaheo and then as you reach Koloa Road make a right turn at the Chevron Station onto Po'ipu Road.

All: both from North and South will Continue West and North West at the traffic circle From Po'ipu Road to Lawai Road and follow the sign to the Spouting Horn, pass the parking lot and continue to the end of the road. There is a turn-around at the end of the road with a gate posted Private Property - No Trepassing. Turn around and find a spot to park. Walk back toward the gate and look to the right of the white sign on a 6' metal post the green writing says "Boundary of the National Tropical Botanical Gardens"...now look up and to your right inside the tree for the "Plumeria Lady Bug hidden box". Thank you for taking this tour with me. Mahalo, enjoy your time today.

Take a ride back to the Spouting Horn, look for turtles feeding off of the rocks. Ride over to Po'ipu Beach and look for some monk seal or wade in the pond there. Aloha

Please replace the box in the same hidden area of the tree.
Mahalo
