A Cowboy’s Delight
There are three items a Cowboy needs to have, to help him make it through a long hard day. First, he must have a hat to shield the sun, wind, rain or whatever else the weather throws at him. Then, he always wants to make sure he has shoes on his horse, so they can travel well over any terrain. At the end of the day, a view of the night sky with all the stars in place, eases the tiredness of the day.

Directions:
Garner State Park is located 31 miles north of the town of Uvalde, 9 miles south of Leakey, or 8 miles north of Concan on the Frio River. From HWY 83, turn east on FM 1050 for .2 miles to Park Road 29 to the new entrance.

To the Box:
Before Entrance Station, turn right and park in the lot. Walk to the north end of the lot to the Nature Trailhead. Follow the trail until you come to a bridge. Cross the bridge and start counting 48 steps and look right. There are two trees about 8 steps off the path, with a fallen log behind them. The box is hidden behind the trees under the log on the right side. Enjoy and please double bag !!!
