Begin your journey at Rocky Ridge County Park.
You can mapquest directions to 4000 Dieninger Road, York, PA 17406.

Directions to the “Gaga Rocks” Letterbox

Follow Dieninger Road as it twists and bends,
Park your car in the parking lot at the end.

Through two split rail fences, you can enter the trail,
On the left you will see signs for female and male.

Walk underneath a promenade of trees,
What a beautiful sight, the leaves in the breeze.

Up ahead you will see a speck,
Continue towards that North Observation Deck.

At the end of the trees, with a bench on your left
Walk towards the right, with your footsteps be deft.
(to clarify: follow Trail #8)

Enter the meadow, the power lines high
Look all around, the landscape, the sky
Look off to the left, do you see Ski Roundtop?
On these snow covered slopes, you’ll see Gaga skiing non-stop.

Head toward the power line, can you hear the electricity talking?
With #8 on your left, the tower on your right, keep walking.

Go down the hill, and enter the woods
You’re on your way to find the goods.

You’ll soon be walking, #8 on your right
The slope’s getting steeper, the sun not so bright.
(to clarify: head straight down the hill – do not bear right nor follow trail #8. It looks like a water runoff route)

Step over rocks, logs, landscape timbers three
From the third timber, continue straight 18 paces
(one pace = 1 step),
then to the right you will see
Is that a trail for a mountain bike?
Let’s follow it and see what it’s like.
(to clarify: Landscape timbers are rectangular, do not count the logs lying on the trails. There is a large boulder in the middle of the run-off close to where the mountain bike trail begins.)

Around the trees, through a dry stone river bed
Some very large rocks, I see ahead.

Up on the left, an extra large rock on a slant
What’s underneath there? Some rocks, leaves, no plants.
Oh, there’s a fulcrum rock and a not so big stump
Hiding next to this is a small, little bump.
Under some twigs and a leafy disguise
You will find “Gaga Rocks” Happy Birthday Surprise!

Why this box, you might ask? Why this location here?
Gaga’s loves: grandchildren, skiing, and shopping are all near!
