This box was removed by workers making room for a new trail. I'll replace it and move it to a better location when I can.
Have you ever seen a bear in the woods wearing a ghost costume? NOW, THAT'S SCARY!
Directions:
From Hwy 290, go north on Telge Rd. In a few miles you will cross Cypress Creek and Telge Park will be on your right. Turn right on Pleasant Grove, then a quick right into parking area.
To the Box:
Enter the park and follow the wire fence all the way to the creek. Turn left and walk past the two green benches on the left. Take the left trail into the woods. At the sharp left turn, take 24 steps and look for a stump about 5 steps off the trail on the left. Behind that stump, between a couple of bricks, covered with bark, is the ghostly bear.
