White Lake State Park is off route 16 in Tamworth, New Hampshire. This is an easy walk with two hills.
You'll go pass signs that say beach parking lot and area 1. Park at the beach.

Take the path next to the phone booth or the Dead End Trail sign.
You'll pass some bathrooms on your right, continue Straight on the paved road, the lake is on your right.
You'll pass a large shed on your left and go over a bridge onto another paved road. There is a beach front on your right. Take the left down the road. You will soon come to a 3 way intersection, take the right path.
You'll pass an orange gate and an uprooted stump on your left. At the Y take a left and continue until the trail splits and go right up a hill. When you reach the top of the hill you'll see a tree with an elbow on the right. There is a pine tree to the left of the elbow tree and at the base of the pine under some bark you'll find Uncle Tom's Cabin, the first box of the series. My family's Late Uncle Tom owned this cabin and kept it in the family. We refer to this place as Old Hampshire so we don't get it confused with the location and activities that go on during the summer in another county of New Hampshire that other family members are involved in. At Uncle Tom's cabin, we letterbox and go snowshoeing.

When you are all done stamping in go back to the Y and take a left, farther down the path.
You'll pass a yellow slow sign to a fork in the path. Go right up a hill. Step over a fallen log in the middle of the path and you'll go by an old oil tank and tires on the right.
The trail ends and loops around in a circle. At the beginning of the circle you'll see a tall pine with a tree with an elbow coming out the side of it. Go to the tall pine behind those two trees, at the base under some bark and sticks you'll find the Ya Ya Sisterhood, the second box. Please rehide carefully! The second stamp is called The Ya Ya Sisterhood because while here in Old Hampshire it is 'girls only weekend' and what we share here stays here. We love being in "Old Hampshire" at Uncle Tom's Cabin. We hope you enjoy your walk.

After you're all done you can return to your car.
