SIR FROGGY IS MISSING, WE CAN'T FIND HIM
This stamp was chosen by our fourth investigator because frogs live nearby.
This letterbox is hidden on the Jordan Creek Recreational Trail between Valley West Drive (35th St.) and EP True Parkway in West DesMoines. The trail curves and goes under both roads. Find the intersection of Valley West Drive and EP True. The bike trail goes under EP True, East of the Iowa Realty building and North of the gas station just before the railroad tracks. You can access the trail from either street.
Once upon a time there was a frog who lived under an arched bridge in the woods. His name was Sir Froggy. He was a very contented frog with lots of bugs to eat. One day a troll moved in under the bridge. Everyone knows that trolls eat frogs, goats and kids. Now Sir Froggy has to hide in the rocks under the bridge. His favorite hiding place is on the Northern side. If you want to find Sir Froggy you will need tough knees and troll repellent.
The Letterbox Muddy Tracks is also hidden on this trail not far from here.
