This is the first in a series of a different kind of mile marker. This one has a date and a name along with the mileage to Hartford and to New York. Be sure to read it, very interesting.
On route 202 in Litchfield, turn into the driveway between a bank (?) and the CVS.. Drive straight back (do not go into the CVS lot) and see two "large" evergreen trees up the embankment. The box is behind tree number two buried under a rock, flush to the ground. Cover with debris to make it invisible.
The marker (if you missed it) is in front of the bank(?).
