Well, call us lazy but we planted this set on July 3rd and are just now getting the clues out(Cuz A seems to have lost her "creative" abilities to type.....*sigh*

So here it goes.

Start your journey at the Moran Square Diner located on the south end of Main Street in Fitchburg, MA. Very cute little diner has been there for ages and it's also in view of many of our historical buildings like the Moran building, the old fire station, the plumbing supply company and not to mention the building where Harper Furniture used to be. They just closed and it was a sad day. Also from theis location you can see several churches (well, the steeples) as well as our new train/bus station, and our new fire station. The old and the new combined is very common in our little town.

As you face the Moran building you'll notice the Spanish War memorial on a tiny little island in the intersection. Please no more than one or two of your group very carefully make your way to the monument. As you face the soldier you'll notice the wooden posts right in front of you. Behind the left one is the first box. This is the only box with a logbook and the rest are micro boxes. Re-hide CAREFULLY.

Get back into your car and make your way up Main Street and pull into the parking lot between the Rollstone Congregational Church and the Lipton Center. Across the street you'll see a series of flags as well as a couple of monuments. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE go to the lights at the intersection and cross there, it is much too dangerous with 4 lanes of traffic to try and cross at any other location. Make your way to the flags. When you arrive, count the number of flags that have blue. Then add all of the digits from the year on the stone that’s almost buried, then subtract the smaller number from the larger number and arrive at a number that means pretty much nothing(sorry couldn’t resist) Find the green railing on the wall and follow it to a post just under the evergreen tree. The box is stuck to the underside of the rail just behind that post.

Now either you can go back to your car and chance a place to park farther up Main Street or leave your car there and walk further up the road, remaining on the same side of the road that you found the flags. ( what would be against the flow of traffic if it were not a one way road.) When you reach Town Hall start watching for a small park and a clock “tower”. Find the Compass on the ground and stand facing south. Behind the bench directly in front of you there is a post. Search under the bottom rail to the right side of that post.

Continue to the Arthur M. Longsjo Monument. You should be walking up the center sidewalk. When you reach the monument notice the flagpole behind it, at the base of the pole you’ll find the final mini.

Make your way back to your car and happy boxing!
