DIRECTIONS: Abington Cemetery is located on Rte 44. If you are heading EAST (from I-84, the cemetery will be on your RIGHT. There is a small sign at the (one-way) entrance. If you reach Rte 97, you have gone a tad too far.
CLUES: Enter the cemetery at the paved entrance. This paved road will curve to the LEFT. After this curve, continue straight, crossing a paved road. At the 'T' intersection, go LEFT. You are now traveling parallel with a stone wall on your LEFT. Park your car in front of Sarah & Herbert Clark's pink stone.
Directly behind the Clark's stone, reach into the base of the wall. There is a small, flat stone between two larger stones. In this crevase hides RP VIII.
**NOTE**
Old stone walls are a very valuable piece of our history here in New England. Please, always be very cautious and respectful when searching for a box in a stone wall. Take the time to really study the clues to locate the exact spot in the stone wall. You will only have to peek behind or move one rock in a manner that is not disruptive to the wall.
