“Shoeless Aimee!” Black Swan laughed.

I had just told him that a Letterboxer we knew had just retrieved Captain Carlton. The biggest tragedy was that his daughter Aimee had lost a shoe on the way to find the box. Fortunately some meddling kids had returned it to the parking lot for the intrepid boxing team.

We were hiking in one of our favorite parks in Berks County, checking that a little surfing alien was still findable because the park had been busy rerouting trails. We also needed some exercise after the big T-day feast (well, at least I did).

“Hey, look at those foot-prints on the trail.” Black Swan commented. “Looks like Shoeless Aimee was here not too long ago.”

After making sure the little surfing alien dude was safe, we followed the silly prints as they continue up the trail. When we reached the Six Penny trail we went right and followed the small prints up the hill.

On the left of the trail we notice a three-trunked tree pretending to be a four-trunked tree and had to investigate.

“What was that?” queried Black Swan.

“Sounds like giggling coming from that “Y” Beech at 60*.” purred Pink Panther.

And there was Shoeless Aimee, waiting under a SPOR.
