Directions:
Traveling North on I-99:
Turn Right onto W. Green Lake Drive N (at Gas Station).
Travel approx. 1 block on W. Green Lake Drive N.
Turn right into parking lot & park.
Traveling South on I-99:
Turn left at 80th N.W.
Turn Right at Stone Ave
Turn Left at North 77th
Turn Right at West Green Lake Drive N.
Travel West until you reach a parking lot on your left hand side, turn in & park.
At the Eastside of the parking lot is a paved path flanked by two large Colorado Spruce trees (your back will be to the tennis courts on the opposite side of the parking lot).
Follow the paved path until it intersects with the ‘Green Lake Walking Path’ (you will be facing the Bathhouse Theatre).
Turn right onto the ‘Green Lake Walking Path’. In the distance, on the lakeside of the walking path is a cluster of 3 towering Fir trees planted in a landscaped area.
Walk to the lake in front of the landscaped area. Turn around and face the landscaped area (with your back is to the lake). To the right of the towering Fir trees, you will spot a dead tree trunk standing approximately 10 to 15 ft tall.
At the base of the trunk, under leaves, etc. is our first Letterbox!
