The "Trail Peddler" letterbox is located at Boat Ramp 1 on Canyon Lake. Good views from here, and right by the dam.
Directions:
From New Braunfels, go toward San Marcos on I-35. Exit Hwy 306, and go left. Just after crossing the Guadelupe River, turn left on hwy 2873. As you are leaving the small town, turn right on Triple Peak Road. Turn right on first road you can (follow brown boat ramp signs). Turn left on Skyline Dr., and soon go left to the boat ramp area. Park at far end park slots (not at very end since that is boat turn araound area).
To the Letterbox:
Walk to the Green "No 1" sign, with views of Canyon lake. Go left to the corner of the asphault parking area. From corner, follow path toward lake for 10 steps, between two boulders. Go right to back side of boulder. Box is under rocks, next to base of a small bush.
