8/30/14 - The box has been cleaned up with a new box and bags. It's not as big as before but will still take hitchhikers.

We found a big hitchhiker and couldn’t find a box to plant it in. So, we made a new Hostel and put it there. It’s an easy walk at MDC Reservoir #6 off Rt. 44 on Avon Mountain. Don’t forget to bring a Hitchhiker to swap for the one that is there enjoying the party. Or if the party is getting big, take one and move it on. Just make sure you don't take the party book or stamp.
Park in the visitor parking lot way in the back. Go up past the Do Not Enter sign and take the path through the gate and toward the water. Keep the water on your left. After a short walk you will see a bench down toward the water where you can stop, rest and enjoy the view. When you're ready, leave by the other path to the north. Continue on the original path in a northerly direction for about 42 paces. Right about there you should come to a smaller trail off to the right. Take it till it interesects with a trail that runs parallel (more or less) to the fence. Go left for about 20 steps and look left among the rocks. Beware of the house and make sure you cover well when you're done.
