This one is an easy walk at MDC Reservoir #6 off Rt. 44 on Avon Mountain.
Park in the visitor parking lot way in the back. Go up past the Do Not Enter sign and take the path through the gate and toward the water. Keep the water on your left. Almost immediately you will see the remains of a stone wall or foundation on your right. From the corner go about 35 grown-up steps down the path. You should now see a dip in the wall. You want to get to a spot in the wall behind the second tree to the left of the dip and about 3 ½ ′ above ground level. Find the best way up to the wall and be careful of loose rocks under foot.
