Clyde's Cider Mill is located on North Stonington road in Old Mystic connecticut. (Close to rte 184) Their phone is 860-536-3354 but please do not ask the staff about the box.
Clyde's has the oldest steam powered cider mill in the US. Come try the cider and apple donuts. They even make old fashioned kettle corn on the weekends.
Please only search for the letterbox during business hours! They don't want anyone on the property while they are closed. If they find people are searching for the box after hours they will remove it! This box will only be available until December 30.
Clyde's is open 7 days a week from 9am to 5pm.
To find the box stand on the porch facing the street (not the parking lot). Look to your right. There is an old iron stove. Between the stove and the street are 2 large bushes. The best way to retrieve the box is to walk around to the backside of the bushes (around with the memorial on the right and the stream on your left). The box is under leaves in the bush closest to the stove. Please rehide well under leaves but do not use any stones. Management asked that we not move any stones on the property especially stone walls! Also this can be a very busy area please use stealth!
