Sorry....this has been reported missing and we verified it is gone. WE will replace it soon and will update here when we do.

Dell Webb’s Cottonwood Ranch Subdivision offers a beautiful park for all the residents and close neighbors. Our grandchildren love to walk over to the park to play on the playground equipment or play ball games on the grass, basketball court or just race across the long grass field. The view from the upper end is amazing looking toward Sedona and the San Francisco Peaks far off in the distance on a clear day.
To get to Cottonwood:
From I-17
Take Hwy 260 to Cottonwood. When you get to the 89A intersection, (Sizzler, Giant gas station) turn left. Follow this around about ½ mile to the next light and turn LEFT. There are signs for 89A to Clarkdale, Jerome and Prescott. (Walgreens and two banks at this corner)
Take this road through stoplights at 12th, 6th, Willard, and Mingus. Stoplight at Mingus has a Maverik gas station. Go to the next street and turn left on Black Hills Drive. This intersection is becoming a traffic circle or roundabout as we write this.

From Jerome:
Come down the hill from Jerome to the intersection of 89A. Turn Right. It will be the first of 5 traffic circles (roundabouts) as you go toward Cottonwood. The fifth circle is Black Hills Drive. Turn right.

Follow Black Hills Drive up the hill to the main entrance marked Cottonwood Ranch (Cottonwood Ranch Drive), you will have passed Airport Rd. turn left.
Turn right at the 2nd street, High Country Drive.
Go past several streets to the painted crosswalk and a gravel/granite driveway on your left. (Cottonwood Ranch Park sign on right side of road) Turn left here and enter the parking area for the park. Walk past the playground area (check the view from here) and down to the lower side of the basketball court finding the gravel walking path around the grass field. Take it to your right if you are facing the grass field. You will find a small grass area off to the right of the path. We can usually find at least 1 rabbit in this area. Go to the lower concrete curb and walk in the grass to your right 27 steps. Now look beyond the curb just a few feet for the box hidden under some large rocks in some low brush. Be careful, some critter may have made a home in the area and not welcome your intrusion. Enjoy the park for a while now that you are here. Use the nice table up in the shade to do your letterboxing in a discreet manner.
We would love to hear from you via e-mail. Enjoy!
