Difficulty: Easy
Distance to Minibox: 25 yards
Status of Minibox: Alive & Well
The "Snake Bite" minibox is located in Freer,Texas, at the Rattlesnake roundup museum. It was closed when we were there, but you can still get the box.
Directions:
Located on Hwy 59, near Hwy 44 junction, on North side of Road (look for big snake).
To the Minibox:
Walk around the building to the right side, and go through the open gate. Go past the second leg of the tall tower. Next to it is a machine (writing on it says "Hill & Foster...". At its right base go to back side and look in the end of round pipe (rocks in front). Box behind the rocks.
