All The Pretty Horses is a book by Cormac McCarthy that was adapted into a 2000 film starring Matt Damon and Penélope Cruz. It is about two Texas cowboys that head to Mexico in search of work, but soon find themselves in trouble with the law after one of them falls in love with a wealthy rancher's daughter. Some of the scenes were filmed in San Antonio, though not in Comanche Lookout Park, where this box is located. Native Americans used this hill as a vantage point for warfare and hunting, and today it has a great view of San Antonio.

Directions:
From Hwy 1604 (Anderson Loop) on the north side of San Antonio, go southwest on FM 2252 (Nacogdoches Rd) for about 1 mile. Comanche Lookout Park will be on the right.

Clues:
Follow the main asphalt trail to the top loop and take the trail off to the right to the rock tower. Go to the water fountain next to the tower and walk 25 steps southeast down a wide rock path. Turn left and walk 5 steps off trail to a large oak tree surrounded by bushes and brambles. The letterbox is on the back side under rocks. Please be discreet and rehide well.
