Originally planted by Rubaduc and adopted in October 2011 by Dulcimer Dame.

For those of you who might not know, Rubaduc broke her ankle in mid-Nov. 2008 and had to used a walker (Wally Walker to be exact) to be as mobile as possible. The ankle mended so in memory of “Wally” here’s an easy, box for you to find. The long part will be from the launch to the trail. My thanks to Flutterby and Gizz for doing the actual planting.

At the junction of Routes 31 and 275 in Coventry, go west on Lake Street until you come to a brown boat launch sign. This would be my best guess for parking. Walk back to Lake St., cross the street and follow the sidewalk (do not take the white trail in front of you) with Patriot Park Woods on your left. Continue uphill, passing the sign and turn left when you get to the "Trail Entrance" sign. This is also a white blazed trail.
You will see many informational signs, or their green posts, as you enter, and along the trail. Cross a wooden bridge and go to the second sign post on the left. From here, count ~80 steps (these were measured in deep snow). You should have a small hill on your right. Atop this hill is a perfect letterboxing tree.
Look in the hole at its base, under a red rock for poor Wally. He was used, abused and discarded...
(Words straight from Flutterby. I DID NOT ABUSE WALLY :-)
