Sun's Day: I hunted The Beast to the end of the line, but now must return to its lair for what I'm certain will be but a small bit of treasure.
As I come to the crossroads where our chase began, I veer south along the path that borders the river. Soon I reach the lands where I know the cave must lie. To the east I see the icy waters where the ducks play. To the west I hear music in the nearby trees.
Uncertain of my exact destination, I seek the wisdom of the owls perched between these two landmarks. However, I soon realize they symbolize something more crude than wisdom. Disappointed, I move to the east side of their perch, and stand beside piles of their rubbish.
I gaze hopefully towards two o'clock and behold, just scant yards before me, three trees that line the fence. A smile invades my lips as I peer beneath the plants behind the center tree, where I discover the small cave and the treasure within.
When you're finished, make sure the logbook and stamp are both sealed in the bag.
