############## down for maintenance ################
The Laguna de Gopher Letterbox is behind the diamonds and you can access the trail behind the diamonds a couple of ways. Or you could drop out of a helicopter, or better yet burrow under the way a gopher might. Well heck, probably you’re a human so do this:
Find the Laguna de Santa Rosa trail across the parking lot (on the south side) from the Community Center at 425 Morris, right off Hwy 12 a quarter mile east of Sebastopol. Saunter down the trail looking around. Then sit down a minute near #10 communing on the bench with Billy and the lagoon. Now check out the Seasonal Bridge area. Note the retaining walls, especially the most southerly. At its most southerly end on the east side nestled next to the retaining wall and under a rock you will find the Laguna de Gopher Letterbox.
Thanks for coming and close the box up nice and tightly to keep the lagoon from drowning the gopher!
