Paki Park is a shady, fenced, park with playground, restrooms, and picnic tables. It is located at the end of Waikiki, behind the Honolulu Zoo. Be sure to check out the zoo’s giraffes that you can see from the park (and sometimes zebras and a rhino, too!).

DIRECTIONS: Paki Park is at the east end of Waikiki, nestled between Paki Ave. and Leahi St., in the block between Kapahulu Ave. and Monsarrat Ave. Parking is on Leahi St. You can take most buses that go to Waikiki- busses 13, 8, 19, 20, 42, and 58 stop next to the park. This is an easy walk from Waikiki.

CLUES: Walk to the east, Diamond Head end of the park (not the end with the playground). Walk to the chain link fence/short rock wall that is on that east, Diamond Head, end of the park (the end parallel to Monsarrat Ave.). There are three white houses on the other side of the fence. There are also three trees along this fence, the one you are looking for is the larger of the three. The tree is along the fence and situated between the two smaller white houses. You will find the letterbox behind the tree, about a foot up from the ground, wedged between the tree trunk and the chain link fence. It is covered with dried palm leaves. Please recover the letterbox with the dried leaves, sticks, or other things you may find in the park at the time.
