This drive is longer than you think so stick with it.
Once you get onto the Vista Trail, you will be following turquoise blazes. It is not a well-maintained trail, so please really key an eye out for the blazes throughout the hike.
You will pass over a foot bridge, down a stone path, and over a larger bridge. Continue down the hill, crossing stone steps. The trail and the blazes will take you along a wire fence. You will pass over cinderblock steps and down the hill to a road. This is where you leave the trail (the blazes would take you down the road).
Cross the road carefully and directly across from the wooden road barrier which has reflectors on it. Find a broken, partially fallen tree which is leaning on another tree. The base of the tree is hollowed out and there you will find your treasure hiding in the tree.
Be sure to cover the letterbox with leaves when putting it back. It might be too visible otherwise!!! Thanks. Enjoy the wonderful weather and the great exercise.
