Old Vernon Cemetery, formerly known as “Old Burial Ground of North Bolton”, is located on Bamforth Road and is filled with some very old stones…and bones.

Enter the cemetery near the iron gates.
Just ahead of you lies Mary Root, the 2nd wife of Daniel Root.
From Mrs. Root, seek out Miss Rachel Hunt.
Once you find Miss Hunt’s tomb, step to the rear of her stone and take 25 steps to the North.
You will now be among the Stonegoods…or was it the Brickfairs….oh shoot, it was something like that.
Now head East to the wall…the key lies beneath a leaner.
You have now collected the second crypt key...you may need it in the future.
Please rehide the box well and use stealth when finding and rehiding so you don't draw unwanted attention. Please respect the cemetery and those which are housed there...it'll be you some day.
