THis box is located at Ames Nowell State Park,in Abington.
As you enter the park, there will be a stone pillar on your left. Park your car first, then go back there. Begin on the paved path, farthest to the left. Continue till you reach the fork in the path. Turn left. You will notice the path now gets dirty and sandy. DO NOT cross bridge. Stay to the left and keep the stream to your right. This path will be a bit rocky and rooty, so watch your step. You will pass a picnic area across the stream to your right. When you come to a series of 3 fallen trees in your path, you are almost there. Cross over 2 and under, or over, the 3rd fallen tree,... depending on your athletic ability. Look ahead, slightly to your left. There will be a dead, leaning, and rather large tree. Go to it. You may see 2 lovely holly bushes to your right. When you arrive at this fallen giant, you will find the box in a hole at the base. Please!!!! cover this well, as it will be obvious if you don't. This letter box is 1st on the trek, so you can find it first or go back and find it then. I know , it's confusing, but....you will have a good time. Follow the directions for Heart break Hotel, till you arrive at the bend in the stream where the picnic area is to your right. You will see the mossiest tree trunk bottom around. the box is there. PLEASE re-hide!!
P.S. you may want to wear clothes that cover your flesh, because there is a thorny patch near the final destination
