Spring has sprung and we’re finally out Letterboxing again. This box is our hope for roses to bloom soon, even among the rocks.
Directions: The box is reached from a picnic area on Rt. 85 in Salem. It’s on the southbound side, across the street from Salem Country Gardens nursery.
Park in the south end of the pull off near the last fire place inside the fence. Directly across the drive and behind the father and son trees there is an area of the barbed wire fence that is scrunched down and crossable. Cross carefully and go toward the big tree by the stone wall. Stay to the left of it, watching out for debris. By the next small tree look for a big rock propped on small ones on top of anther big one. The box is under this big one and behind some medium ones.
Cover well when you’re done and don’t destroy the wall.
