Difficulty: Easy
Distance: 25 yards
Status of Minibox: No finder yet
The "Roaming Alone" minibox is located near Canyon Lake at the Canyon Lake cabins and cottages resort. This rustic place works well as a place to stay near the lake, with a pool, grills for cooking, volleyball court and basketball.
Directions:
From I-35, go west on Hwy 306. Once you pass the Guadalupe River, you will go about another 5 miles. You will pass a highway intersection (goes right) with a light, then soon after you will see The Windmill restaurant on the right. After this, look for the brown sign for the Resort. Turn right just before sign on the road. Do not turn left into the main drive, but go straight to the archway that says "Outback". Go under the arch, and turn right and go under overhang, then park just ahead.
To the Minibox:
Walk back to the overhang on the Outback Hall, and go left down to the gazebo. Just before entering it, go left along the rock line and tress to the 3 foot rock wall. Where the rock line meets the rock wall, look up the wall about 2 feet, and just a little left, and find the small rock stuck in the wall. The Minibox is behind this rock.
