LIFE IS A 3 RING CIRCUS
#2 – THE RINGMASTER (# 1 The Big Top, is in Danielson)

RELATIVELY EASY

DIRECTIONS: Sorry to say, but as of Nov. 5, 2019 this box seems to be missing, which is too bad because it is a nice place to visit and it was well hidden. Since I live in Florida now, I probably won't be able to replace it.

From the East, (Route 12 or I-395, Exit 91W)
Start at the intersection of Route 6, Main St. (Route 12) and Maple St., Danielson.

Go west on Route 6 approximately 2 miles, through 7 traffic lights. Do NOT turn @ the 7th light even though it says Prince Hill Rd. Continue 1 more mile and then turn left on Prince Hill Rd and immediately turn right into the parking area. This is the Donald Francis Recreational Park.

From the West,
Begin in Brooklyn Center at the intersection of Route 6 and Route 169.
Go East on Route 6 for ½ mile, turn right onto Prince Hill Rd and immediately turn right into the parking area.

Follow the paved walkway down the slope toward the tennis courts. Walk to the left of the courts down to the wooded area and cross the wooden bridge to the stone wall. Go through the opening in the wall and follow the Blue Trail to the right until you come to the 2nd wooden bridge.

Do not cross the bridge. The 1st “Dating Game” Box (I Want You!) is in the stone wall, 8 paces to the right of the bridge.
Now you can cross the bridge and go right on Blue, up the hill. When the ground levels out a little look for a huge old Oak tree on the right that has pushed the wall into a semi-circle around it. The tree has fallen since we originally planted this box and is now actually laying on its side behind the wall. Climb over to wall. Then, facing the path you will find the “Ringmaster” hidden in the wall about 3 feet to the left of the tree stump. Please return the box and prop a stone against it so it is not easily seen, as I think youngsters like to climb over the wall and climb on the downed tree.

You may want to continue on to find the 3rd “Dating Game” box. When finished stamping re-hide well and return to your car by retracing your steps.

We hope you enjoyed finding the 2nd box in our series.
