The Wilderness Center Interpretive Building is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Tues.-Sat; 1-5 p.m. Sun.

After you enter through the front doors, you should see the stairs near the left side of the lobby and the elevator near the right side. Proceed to the second floor. From the top of the stairs, the entrance of the Buckeye Auditorium is located to the left. To the right of the entrance is the Arnold W Fritz Solar Array display.

Now do an about face and proceed down the hall until you enter the room preceding the Terrace. In one corner is a model of a snag and the various critters that may live in one. To the left of the snag there is a plaque that identifies the animals that are depicted in the display.
