Head west on Rt 44 (main st) in winsted. Turn right onto Monroe Place (beardsley library will be on the corner) Follow the road to the end. Turn right Monumnet is up on the right. (cival war monumnet)
This box is dedicated to ALL the people (not just the military) who serve our country everyday. Without them we would crumble.
At the rear of the monumnet across the driveway find the path that takes you to a stone wall in the wooded area. Follow the wall to the left. Go around a rock that is in your way. (not one that is in the wall) In front of this rock is a large 2 sister tree and a large guitar shaped rock. under the giutar hidden behind some smaller rocks is what you seek.
Please rehide well there are a lot of kids in this area. becareful also of what might be poison ivy. We weren't sure at this time if it is.
