Follow Rt8 north out of winsted into Colebrook. Turn right onto Robertsville Rd. At the V stay to the left. At the end of the road there is a bridge. Park on the right side BEFORE the bridge. Walk toward the large pine tree with the anglers info on it. Take the path before the tree. Down on the right is the remains of a stone foundation. With a large tree growing out of the center. Go to the right hand corner behind the fire pit. Behind some small rocksunder the square rock with the small tree growing on it is the Cats meow.
I think this would be " kitty heaven" with fresh water, fish, small woodland creatures and ample places to lay in the sun. It's Purr fect.
