2/2010: I have been informed by the FF that there is a geocache in the area of this box. If the next letterboxer could mark the stamp "no trades" and the logbook and box itself "NOT A GEOCACHE" I would be most appreciative. The logbook is tiny and it irritates me that this mystery box is having its logbook filled up by cachers who are also leaving trinkets in this tiny box and I'm in another state and can't fix the situation.

I was traveling south on Highway 1 in Santa Cruz County when I noticed a place called Whale City. Angling for a sweet spot along the coast and some pie and ice cream, I stopped.
It all went downhill from there. I was hooked by this charming place. One "wrong" turn - that’s all it takes when exploring.
It’s been 10 years since I lived in the area and I’ve long since let my fishing license lapse. Oops! I thought I was being sneaky and clever using magnets instead of some boring regular lure to Back me Up. The Department of Fish and Game made me do my time while Y.awning at my plight in this tiny, though cute, place. That's my fishing story and I'm Sticking to it.
A Forrester then a Rose in back confirm the wa-Y. Not a bad place to have to do some time.
