For years, Fay brought her kids to play soccer at the field behind the old Carter High School. She always thought a playground should be built for the little brothers and sisters who tagged along to the games. Bring your lunch and your small frye and play a while on the playground equipment her children donated.
Make your way to the corners of Merriam Ave. and Hall Street. Park on Merriam Ave. across from the Methodist Church. Enter through the black gate and wander over to the jungle gym, swing a bit, pass the rider toys, walk to the black fence. Go behind the fence to the corner. What you seek in under a flat rock covered with leaves. Watch out for little Muggles, this is a busy place in the warm weather. If you're quick, you might just see TC cat-ching a few fly balls.
