Take Route 71 (Chamberlain highway) to route 364. After driving past timberland Golf course, another three quarters of a mile will bring you to Edgewood road, turn left, go about half a mile...passing a horse farm with white three railed fences on your right. Soon you will pass the gas lines. After the gas lines you'll see a small parking area with cement barriers on the right.
After parking walk south on Edgewood road for a very short distance to the trail head. Pass through an orange gate onto an old fire road that is a part of the Blue Blaze trail system leading to west peak in Meriden.
These directions were borrowed from Rubaduc :)

Follow the wide blue blazed path until it turns off into the woods. Here blue goes left, but you will bear right, staying on the wide path.Keep an eye on the left side of the trail and you will spy a large 3 sister pine. After this pine the path will make a left turn.Shortly after this bend in the trail look right for an amazing 8 trunked pine 27 steps off the trail.Check behind this tree for the letterbox, hidden under bark and debris. Please rehide it well.
